Risk disclosure
Read this one. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, most day traders lose money, and nothing on this site changes either fact.
The honest numbers
Published research on retail day trading consistently finds that the large majority of day traders lose money over time, and only a small minority remain profitable after costs. If anyone tells you otherwise, they are selling something. We are telling you this while also selling something, which is exactly why it is written here.
Futures, options and forex carry leverage
Leveraged instruments can produce losses that exceed your deposit, and they can do it quickly. Options can expire worthless. Crypto markets trade around the clock with no circuit breakers and less regulatory protection. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. That phrase is worn out because it keeps being true.
Education does not guarantee results
Gapat Trading sells education: courses, structure, and mentorship. Skilled instruction improves your process; it does not promise, and cannot promise, that you will be profitable. Any trading results discussed by Gapat mentors are their own, are not typical, and are not a projection of yours.
Paper trade first
Our standing advice, in the tool and out of it: prove your plan on a simulator or with the smallest available size before risking meaningful money. A strategy that cannot survive 20 paper trades does not deserve your savings.
If you are in trouble
If trading losses are affecting money you need for rent, family or debt, stop trading. No course fixes that, including ours, and we will tell you the same thing in a text. The National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-GAMBLER) also covers compulsive trading.
